Making Sense of Visual Data

Yurong Chen, PhD, Intel Labs The amount of visual data available is growing exponentially, but harnessing the potential of these images is continually evoloving. Researchers will share cutting-edge visual understanding technologies for solving the visual data explosion problem, including advanced 2D/3D face analysis, emotion recognition, object detection, and dense video captioning. Participants will also learn efficient DNN design and compression technologies (Low-bit deep compression, network slimming, etc.) for DL acceleration.
