Efficient Neural Network Training on Intel Xeon-based Supercomputers

Li Sanping, Dell, MC China Research Institute, chief scientist. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a Ph.D. in computer engineering. Currently, he is mainly engaged in research and development of machine learning and deep learning, including pulse neural network (SNN), learning automation and meta-learning in machine learning workflow and data management. Deep learning optimization tools provide fast and easy learning of deep learning models. Build and tune, as well as auto-deployment in a multi-node environment. Paul Rietze currently leads OEM, LOEM and ODM business development for the Intel Artificial Intelligence Product Group (AIPG). He is responsible for initiating, evaluating and managing strategic business opportunities, partnerships and alliances focused on artificial intelligence. His goal is to introduce and promote the AIPG hardware and software product line through OEMs and drive market adoption through the development and implementation of global market launch plans. Ananth Sankaranarayanan is the Senior Director of Intel's Artificial Intelligence Products Group, where he leads the team to help customers and partners around the world build a wide range of artificial intelligence solutions that scale and accelerate on Intel-based platforms. Prior to this, Ananth served as the head of the Big Data Analytics and HPC Solutions Engineering team. He has held various engineering leadership positions at Intel since 2001 and has earned Intel's highest recognition for providing the first production of "high performance computing" capabilities. He holds two patents, has authored several technical publications, and recently participated in the book "Artificial Intelligence for Autonomous Networks."
