ONNX - Freedom to Move Between Frameworks

Jason Knight, Platform Architect, Intel AI Lab Joe Spisak, Product Manager, Facebook Yuan Yu, Software Architect, Microsoft The Open Neural Network Exchange (ONNX) project is an effort by Facebook, Microsoft, Amazon, Intel and others in an attempt to increase the freedom in tooling that data scientists have at their disposal. While the project started as a serialization format for trained models, ONNX is likely to expand to enable better interoperability in machine learning tasks from training to deployment. We’ll discuss the ONNX project roots, how developers can benefit from ONNX today, and the future impacts of ONNX to the entire machine learning ecosystem.
