Yang Xu is currently the global vice president and president of China at Intel Corporation, responsible for Intel's strategy and operations in China. Yang Xu is also a member of Intel's core management team and participates in Intel's highest global decision. Yang Xu served as the OEM sales manager of Intel (China) Co., Ltd. in 1995, responsible for developing personal computer OEM business in China. In the meantime, he promoted the close cooperation and win-win development between Intel and China's PC industry. In 2000, he began as General Manager of Intel China Sales and Marketing. In 2005, he was named vice president of marketing for Intel Corporation and general manager of Intel Asia Pacific, and shared this position with John Antone. In 2007, Intel China was upgraded to an independent region reporting directly to the headquarters. Yang Xu became vice president of marketing for Intel Corporation and general manager of Intel China. In 2009, Yang Xu was promoted to President of Intel China. During his 30-year career in serving Intel, Yang Xu has held various positions in technology marketing, customer marketing, and business development in China and the United States. Yang Xu graduated from GMI Engineering Management College in Flint, Michigan, USA in 1990 with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
