Kushal Datta, Senior Data Scientist, Intel High-content cellular microscopy is important in the field of drug discovery but using it at scale is associated with many data science and performance optimization challenges. In this talk we describe our data science work for using deep learning to automate aspects of the drug discovery pipeline, including CPU, memory, and network optimization methods for a supervised image classifier and a combined autoencoder/clustering system.
